Is "Hey Girl" the kind of instant song that demands your attention? No. But it sounds dang good and the rhyme of "Girl" with "Girl" actually works on the song, even if some people may disagree. This song sets a mood and will sound good on modern country radio playlists, even if it's mostly forgotten a year or two from now, you know, like most songs that have EVER been played on the radio at any given moment in time.
