The Band Perry To Perform New Tracks From "Pioneer" In Hometown Concert This Weekend

They've already scored a big #1 hit with "Better Dig Two" and are set to see "Done" rise up the charts to remarkable heights as well as the family trio sets to release their upcoming Pioneer album. Read on here to learn more about how they're celebrating the new album with their hometown!

While fans have to wait until April 2 to hear new music from The Band Perry with the release of Pioneer, those in their hometown of Greenville, TN will get a sneak preview this weekend. Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry are set to perform the new tunes for the fans with a free concert and signing to be held on Saturday, March 30. The special day is just one of several appearances the sibling trio will be doing as part of their "Outnumber Hunger" campaign.

“Anyone who knows us knows how much we love our hometown," says Neil Perry. "We have been traveling so much the past several years that we wanted to bring our new music and our new show back home to the folks in Greeneville to say how much we appreciate their support, just like we did with our first record. It’s our way of saying ‘thank you.’”

“We are working with General Mills this year to ‘Outnumber Hunger’ and we are so appreciative that they are sponsoring our hometown show and giving us the platform to bring our new music home to our friends in Greeneville," adds Reid Perry. "We are especially looking forward to spending time with our friends there and meeting our fans.”

Outnumber Hunger is an initiative from General Mills, Big Machine Label Group and Feeding America. In its second year, Outnumber Hunger helps fight hunger in local communities by helping Feeding America secure meals for its network of local food banks. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to help the cause through on-site activities where proceeds raised will help provide meals for Feeding America.

“Sometimes to know where you are going, you have to know where you have been," says Kimberly Perry. "Greeneville is our home and is so dear to our hearts. It’s the place we come back to, to feed our souls and rest our heads. It’s where we can truly let our hair down. What better place to unveil Pioneer than right at home!? We are so proud that the Greene County Partnership is presenting our show.”

The concert will take place -- rain or shine -- on North Main Street, beginning at 6:00PM ET. Following their performance, The Band Perry will sign autographs and meet with their fans. If weather becomes an issue, the event will move inside the gymnasium at Hal Henard Elementary School (425 E Vann Road in Greeneville, TN), and attendees will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
