“Sure Be Cool If You Did” continues to sell well for The Voice star Blake Shelton. The lead single from Based On A True Story..., the track has now sold nearly 650,000 downloads in just nine weeks on the chart. Blake’s lovely wife Miranda Lambert is at #2 with “Mama’s Broken Heart” once again and the track is one of the week’s biggest sales-gainers with sales now pushing Gold (500k sold). Darius Rucker’s cover of Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel” is up to #3 on the Roughstock Top 30 Digital Singles report this week with sales now nearing 300k in just nine weeks. Lady Antebellum is at 266k with “Downtown” in five short weeks while Luke Bryan’s “Buzzkill” one of two tracks from this week’s #1 album Spring Break...Here To Party that was previously unavailable. Florida Georgia Line Score Two Tracks in Top 10 with “Get Your Shine On” and “Cruise.”
The Top 10 of Roughstock’s Top 30 Digital Singles Sales Report contains Florida Georgia Line’s sophomore radio hit single “Get Your Shine On” at #6 this week with sales now 56k away from giving the Republic Nashville duo their second Gold Single award while their other single - “Cruise” - sits at #9 this week (and was just re-mixed by rapper Nelly)! Sitting at #7 on the chart this week is Hunter Hayes’ nearly Triple-Platinum single “Wanted.” He also has “Somebody’s Heartbreak” sitting at #17 of this very same chart. The Band Perry may have moved onto “Done.” but the family trio’s previous hit, the chart-topper “Better Dig Two” sits at #7 on this week’s Top 30 Digital Singles Sales Report. Rounding out the Top 10 is Kenny Chesney with “Pirate Flag, track which has sold 175k downloads in 5 weeks on the charts.
Kacey Musgraves “Merry Go ‘Round Certified Gold; Tim McGraw & Taylor Swift Risers of the Week with “Highway Don’t Care.”
The story of the singles outside the Roughstock Top 30 Digital Singles Sales Report’s top 10 starts with Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift’s next single at country radio, their collaboration “Highway Don’t Care” from Tim’s Big Machine Records debut Two Lanes Of Freedom. The track gains 39% sales increase over last week while Kacey Musgraves debut single - a radio airplay Top 10 - has now sold 524,000 singles making it a Gold-certified single, the first of her career as an artist. Her debut album Same Trailer Different Park drops next week. Carrie Underwood is less than 22k singles sold away from scoring another multi-platinum single in “Blown Away” while Little Big Town’s less than 15,000k away from their own Double Platinum mark for “Pontoon.” Finally, Luke Bryan’s “Just A Sip” - the other new track from his Chart-topping album and “In Love With The Girl” debut on the chart. “In Love With The Girl” is from an old EP and thus has sold 113,000 singles to date. Brad Paisley debuts with “Beat This Summer,” the sophomore single from “Wheelhouse.” Lead single “Southern Comfort Zone” has sold 431,000 singles to date.
