Single Review: Wynonna - Something You Can't Live Without

Set to star on the new cycle of ABC TV's "Dancing With The Stars," Wynonna has returned to Country Music after a hiatus of a couple of years with "Something YOu Can't Live Without." Read on here to see what we have to say about the star of the 1980s and 1990's new single.

Wyonna has always showcased a bluesy side to her voice, even when recording as 1/2 of the Judds with her mother. "Something You Can't Live Without" finds the vocalist sounding stronger and better than she has in recent years and that may be due to her peace with who she is as a person and with her marriage to Cactus Moser.

The only problem I see happening with this track is that it's likely only to be paid attention to by radio as long as Wynonna's on Dancing With The Stars and it is almost guaranteed to never be much of a big time success for the fire branded personality. Wynonna's voice is certainly identifiable albeit not as identifiable and as it was on earlier hits "To Be Loved By You" and "Only Love." But that's OK.

"Something You Can't Live Without" showcases Wynonna emotional side and may be one of her most personal performances in years. We'll see if that's enough to make it a hit.
