Kellie Pickler & Wynonna Dance On Season Debut of Dancing With The Stars

Country Music is well-represented on this season's cycle of "Dancing With The Stars." Black River Records artist Kellie Pickler and Curb artist Wynonna are both taking part in the highly-watched program. Read on here to see a recap of their first night's performances on the ABC TV Program!

Pickler was given light criticism for stiff legs, but the judges praised her torso movements and overall performance value, with judge Carrie Ann Inaba commenting, "You've got sass and you've got class."  Wynonna was criticized by Len Goodman for being "a little bit careful here and there," but commended for her timing, footwork, and display of personality.  Kellie will dance the jive and Wynonna will dance the quickstep on next Monday's show (which will air 8:00/ 7:00 Central on ABC), after which the first elimination of the season will take place on the Tuesday night results show (9:00/ 8:00 Central).

Did you catch Kellie and Wynonna's performances on Dancing With The Stars last night?  We think they both put on a great show, and we look forward to seeing how their technique will improve over the course of the season.  The fans will likely support Wynonna for the first few weeks, but if her scores don't improve soon, she may be voted off before long.  If Kellie Pickler successfully builds on the talent she displayed in her cha cha cha, she could be a real contender for the mirrorball trophy.  What do you think?  Do Wynonna Judd and Kellie Pickler have what it takes to become Dancing With The Stars champions?  Will you be tuning in to next week's show and voting for them so that neither one is sent home in Tuesday's elimination?
