The CMA Vocal Group of the Year’s performance will air on tonight, February 12. This week has been nothing but exciting times for Little Big Town. In addition to “Tornado” continuing to climb its way up the country singles chart, the group picked up their very first Grammy win on Sunday night (February 10) for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their first-ever chart-topping hit, the Double Platinum “Pontoon.”
“Tornado” is the current single and title track of Little Big Town’s current album that spent time at the No. 1 position for five consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart. To date, the album has exceeded sales of 680,000 copies in only five months.
“Pontoon” has grown legs of its own as well, with digital downloads of over two million copies sold. Look for Little Big Town on the road this summer opening for country superstar Keith Urban on his 2013 North American tour.
