What better time to announce details about your new album than when you're sitting high at No. 1 on the country singles chart. That's exactly how Brad Paisley decided to unveil the artwork cover and the track listing to his highly-anticipated eighth studio album,Wheelhouse. Wheelhouse is set to hit stores on Tuesday, April 9, and it has already produced this week's chart-topping hit and Paisley's 21st No. 1 single, "Southern Comfort Zone."
The 17-track album (which also features three interstitials) was produced solely by Paisley, who also lends his hand at writing each of the songs found on the project. Some of Paisley's usual suspects fill out the album with him, including Kelley Lovelace, Chris DuBois and Lee Thomas Miller. Additionally, the album features a collaboration with Paisley and a few of his singing pals. Album track "Outstanding in Our Field" features Dierks Bentley and Roger Miller, as well as Hunter Hayes on guitar. Other tracks include appearances by Charlie Daniels, Eric Idle and even LL Cool J.
