Jake Owen Celebrates "The One That Got Away" Gold Single Sales

Jake Owen's recent chart-topping single, "The One That Got Away," has given the singer more wall bling. Owen's fans snatched up over 500,000 copies of the single through digital downloads, making the tune a gold-selling single. 

Owen received the exciting news this week while doing rehearsals in Nashville as he geared up for his highly anticipated trek opening shows on Jason Aldean's Night Train Tour.  “If the excitement wasn’t already building just preparing to hit the road with friend (and headliner) Jason Aldean, it sure is now," beams Owen. "I can’t thank country radio and the fans enough for supporting my music. My band and I have been in rehearsals day in and day out getting our new show ready, and I can’t wait to share it." Owen is well prepared for the Night Train Tour, which kicks off Thursday (February 21), seeing how he played sold out show after sold out show all last year as the headliner of CMT On Tour. Prior to that, Owen spent his summer of 2012 opening for Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney on the Brothers of the Sun Tour.

Owen's latest single from his Barefoot Blue Jean Night album is "Anywhere With You," which was penned by hitmakers Ben Hayslip, David Lee Murphy and Jimmy Yeary.
