Kristen Kelly - "He Loves To Make Me Cry" (Arista Nashville)
This is a song that should set the name of Kristen Kelly apart from the pack. It’s 3:40 of vocal passion that she handles with ease.

Blake Shleton - "Sure Be Cool If You Did" (Warner Brothers)
Blake seems to have his finger on the pulse of the term “radio-friendly.” This will be another example of that, as the song just seems to possess a natural flow from start to finish.”

Charlie Worsham - “Could It Be” (Warner Brothers)
This song has an irresistible groove to it. It also manages to be country yet progressive, and Worsham’s vocals are as warm as tea with honey.

Miranda Lambert - “Mama’s Broken Heart” (RCA)
Lambert shows her saucy attitude on her new single, which serves as a story song. It might not be the most conservative pick for a single, but Lambert and the straight ahead approach don’t go together.

Austin Webb - “It’s All Good” (Streamsound)
Webb sounds very southern on his new single, which is very reminiscent of Billy Ray Cyrus in a way. I think this one is going to find a huge fan base, particularly with the female demographic.

John Maison - “Love Is A Trip” (Indie)
The instrumentation is fun and fresh, and Maison’s raw vocal is relaxed and ready to entertain. Three minutes of nothing but fun!
Darius Rucker - “Wagon Wheel” (Capitol)
What really sets this record apart is that Darius Rucker sounds like he is having an absolute blast. It’s a fun cover of the Old Crow Medicine Show, made even more livelier with some compelling harmonies from Lady Antebellum.

Florida Georgia Line - “Get Your Shine On.” (Republic Nashville)
After hitting the top of the charts with “Cruise,” Florida Georgia Line keep up the vocal intensity with the rockin’ follow up. It’s high energy from start to finish!

The Henningsens - “American Beautiful” (Arista Nashville)
Fans and radio are agreeing early about the chances for this family trio, and their debut record seems to scream right off of the airwaves. Lead singer Clara’ s vocals are particularly effective.

Kip Moore - “Hey Pretty Girl” (MCA Nashville)
Kip Moore gets a chance to showcase his vocals for the first time on his new single, rather than just dealing with cute hooks for radio play. It’s Country, but you can also hear some Springsteen up front and center!
