Proceeds from the event will support the Alex LeVasseur Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, as well as the Brentwood Family YMCA’s Youth Development initiatives. LeVasseur, the songwriter’s only son, lost his life six years ago today (January 28) in a fatal ATV accident. Since, Steele has gone above and beyond to keep his son’s memory alive by holding various fundraising events throughout the year.
