For the first time in his 17 year major label career, Gary Allan has scored the chart-topping slot on the SoundScan Top 200 Albums chart with his 10th album Set You Free. The set sold over 100,000 copies to easly take the slot. Read on here to find out how the Roughstock Country Top 10 fared as well.

Gary Allan Scores First SoundScan Top 200 #1 Album with Set You Free and is joined by Randy Houser in the SoundScan Roughstock Country Top 5 with his own debut How Country Feels this week.

For the first time since releasing Red late last year, Taylor Swift doesn’t own the best-selling country album slot of the week. Instead, Set You Free -Gary Allan’s first new album in three years [which features this week’s #1 radio chart hit “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain)”] - sold an impressive 106,000 copies last week to outpace even The Lumineers rising self-titled album to score the top slot on the SoundScan Top 200 Albums chart. Taylor still scored the #2 on the Soundscan/Roughstock Country Albums Top 10 chart this week with Triple Platinum Red. Randy Houser debuts on the charts with How Country Feels. the album sold a solid 24,000 copies its first week, by far giving him the highest sales debut in his career (and fresh on the heels of his first #1 as an artist for the title track). Florida Georgia Line's Here's To The Good Times scores the #4 slot on our chart with sales now just over a quarter-million copies sold. Jason Aldean’s Platinum-selling Night Train rounds out the Top 5 with another 16k copies finding new listeners.

Nashville Soundtrack, Little Big Town, Hunter Hayes, Remain Top 10 Albums

With strong ratings continuing to help drive sales, the soundtrack for ABC TV’s “Nashville” remains in the Top 10 of our rundown this week while Little Big Town’s Tornado album has sold 668k to date. Hunter Hayes’ self-titled album (Featuring “Wanted” “Storm Warning” and “Somebody’s Heartbreak”) sits at #8 this week with another 13k sold while his tour mate Carrie Underwood sits right behind him at #9 with her Platinum Blown Away record. Luke Bryan retains the #10 slot this week with his juggernaut Tailgates & Tanlines album. It was announced yesterday that he’ll soon release a full-length Spring Break album, a compilation which includes tracks from the previous EPs and two new tracks.

Notable Albums include Eli Young Band, The Lone Bellow and Tim McGraw & Friends

Thanks to a high-profile appearance on ABC’s “The Bachelor,” Eli Young Band’s Life At Best returns to the chart this week with 5,000 fans taking home the record, a # which helps the recording move past the 300k sales mark. The album features the #1 Platinum hits “Crazy Girl,” and “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” along with Top 25 hit “Say Goodnight.” Miranda Lambert saw a 17% sales increase in her Four The Record with new single “Mama’s Broken Heart” helping convince fans to buy the award-winning album. Brooklyn-based vocal trio The Lone Bellow debut on our rundown this week with their fantastic self-titled album. They’ve now sold 10,000 copies in two weeks on the charts with the album and look to become the year’s new buzz band like The Lumineers and Mumford & Sons and The Civil Wars have been the past couple of years. Rounding out our rundown  is the new release from Tim McGraw, a collection of his duets and collaborations from his time on CURB Records, and Cold River Records' Katie Armiger's Fall Into Me, a recording which has sold 14,000 copies in two weeks (12,000 its first week).

There isn’t really anything new to arrive next week so we’ll instead just have to see how Randy Houser and Gary Allan fare in their second week on this chart.
