"How Country Feels" Randy Houser Dishes on Being A First-Time Daddy

Stoney Creek Recording artist Randy Houser has a lot to be thankful for these days. In addition to the #1 single "How Country Feels" and Top 5 album of the same name, the star is relishing a new role: Father. Read on to learn more about the star's feelings about being called "Dada" and more!

“The biggest thing he’s doing right now is hollering ‘Dada,’” Houser tells PEOPLE magazine. “He’s pulling up on everything. He also learned to crawl. He can pretty much get on his horsey [toy] by himself.”

But what is the best part? The nights when “dada” is home from the road and gets to put his lil man to sleep.

“My favorite thing is to rock him at nighttime when he’s going to bed,” shares the proud papa.

With the release of his new album this week (How Country Feels), Houser knows those nights at home will soon be few and far between, which has him thinking down the road of the day he can bring his family on tour with him.

“Right now there are 11 guys on the bus so it makes it hard to bring a baby on the road,” he explains.
