Hit Songwriter Bobby Pinson Hosts Weekly Sing for Your Supper Event in Nashville

Last night Bobby Pinson once again hosted his weekly "Sing For Your Supper" songwriter event at Lucy's Country Cafe inside Midtown Nashville's Blue Bar. Read on to learn what songwriters performed at the weekly event.

Jeremy McComb, Wil Nance, Jesse Rice, King’s Bullet and a slew of other talented singer-songwriters took to the stage to perform many of their hits for those in attendance who enjoyed the menu selections consisting of Chicken and Waffles, Steer on a Steek (pronunciation borrowed from Jeff Dunham’s Jalepeno Puppet) and other “redneck gourmet” dishes provided by Chef Karen and Sous Chef Cyrus, along with Lucy Pinson’s (Bobby’s wife) family classics – lasagna, pot roast with carrots, and chicken and dressing.

After the first hour of up-and-coming talent taking the stage to perform their original tunes, the featured singer-songwriters took the spotlight for their acoustic sets of hit after hit, including Nance’s “She’s Everything,” which he wrote with Brad Paisley and Rice’s “Cruise,” which just spent five weeks at No. 1, for Florida Georgia Line. McComb kept the crowd entertained not only with his music, but his witty humor between songs, while King’s Bullet once again proved by their harmony and musicianship why they are regulars at Sing for Your Supper.

Next week's Sing for Your Supper (Wednesday, February 6) will mark the one-year anniversary since Pinson started the weekly event. Performers will include Pinson’s new band Hwy NOYZ, Lucy Pinson, Andy Griggs, Daryle Singletary, Wade Hayes, Josh Hoge, Rachel Bradshaw, Leith Loftin, Gwen Sebastian, The Beagles, Terri Jo Box, Renee Meyers and more. Show starts at 7:00PM with dinner beginning at 6:30PM. Lucy’s Country Café is located at 1911 Broadway, Nashville 37203 (inside the Blue Bar).
