Country Albums From Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum & Scotty McCreery Certified Gold

Country music artists may make festive seasonal albums every year but it's not every year that three of the top-selling artists release new Yuletide fare and are hugely successful with them but that's exactly what has happened this year. Read on to find out more here!

Blake Shelton was the second of this year's three big stars to score a Gold certification for his 2012 Yuletide release Cheers, It's Christmas. The album which featueres guests like wife Miranda Lambert, mentor Reba McEntire, friends like Michael Buble, Xenia and #TeamBlake from the third 'season' cast of "The Voice." But the most special guest on the album is Blake's mom and co-writer for "Time For Me To Come Home," Dorothy Shackleford. The album balances classic Christmas songs with some of Shelton's own tracks and it has been one of his fastest selling records ever.

The latest country star to have their 2012 Christmas album certifed Gold is Lady Antebellum, who had their On This Winter's Night album certified Gold this weekend for shipments of 500,000 albums to stores. Their album features a mixture of older tunes (like single "Holly Jolly Christmas") and newer tunes (like the title track).
