Single Review: The Band Perry - "Better Dig Two"

The Band Perry are back with a fiery lead-single from thier upcoming Republic Nashville sophomore release. Read on to see what we think of "Better Dig Two" here and then follow the link to listen to the track to judge for yourself!

In addition to featuring Kimberly Perry's dynamic vocals we have a lound/soft melodic dynamic with banjos, mandolins, fiddles and electric guitars mixed in with a rock attitude and cries of steel guitars as well.

This is about as exciting as a lead single as a band like The Band Perry can get and it suggests that they're 'in it to win it' - as Randy Jackson of American Idol might say - or that there will not be a sophomore slump with their sophomore album but a sophomore surge, the kind of surge that will/could make this family country band the 'band version' of Taylor Swift with pop audiences as there's clearly an ability with this song to crossover with a slight melody changes.
