Country Chart News - The Top 30 Digital Singles: The Week of November 7, 2012: CMA Awards Impact, The Band Perry, Tim McGraw, Thompson Square Debut

This week we find The CMA Awards making a major impact, as the award show always does, with country digital song sales. Check out the sales for The Band Perry, Tim McGraw, Thompson Square and Kelly Clarkson's new debuts and all the post-CMA Awards glow here!

Taylor Swift still has the most songs on this chart but last week’s CMA Awards telecast helps The Band Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Thompson Square and Tim McGraw Debut with new singles in the Top 15!

Taylor’s divisive “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is back at #1 after a week away due to soundscan/iTunes “Complete My Album” issues. the track has now sold nearly 2.5 million downloads while The Band Perry sold 83,000 copies of thier hot new single “Better Dig Two.” Florida Georgia Line continues to have big sales weeks thanks to “Cruise” and the song is a week or two away from crossing the Platinum sales mark. Hunter Hayes has an outside shot at Double Platinum before 2012 ends but at the very least, he’s likely to see “Wanted” cross that marker sometime in January. Carrie Underwood’s recent #1 hit “Blown Away” is next on the charts.

“Pontoon” “Over You” and Three New songs lead CMA Awards Sales Bumps!

With 41,000 more people downloading “Pontoon” the previous week, it’s clear both Little Big Town’s performance of the song and the song winning 2012 CMA Single of the Year helped it score with fans while The CMA Awards helped Miranda Lambert’s “Over You” leap back into the charts this week. Her single re-enters the Top Digital Songs chart thanks to her and Blake Shelton’s win for Song of the Year. The song is now also officially a Platinum single as well. Taylor’s current Country Single “Begin Again” returns to the chart while Lee Brice’s “Hard To Love” and Luke Bryan’s “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” land inside the Top 10 thanks to the CMA Awards. Kelly Clarkson’s official country radio single which features Vince Gill, “Don’t Rush,” debuts at #10 with 41,000 fans taking the track home.

CMA Awards Artists and Performed Songs Dominate Sales charts.

Both Thompson Square and Tim McGraw debut this week with new singles performed on the CMA Awards. Thompson Square’s “If I Didn’t Have You” debuts at while McGraw’s “One Of Those Nights” starts out at #15. The TV program “Nashville”  has songs that are showcased on the Top 30 this week but they all slid down the chart while many others jumped back into the Top 30 this week, including Zac Brown Band’s 17 slot jump with “Goodbye In Her Eyes” at  #14, Eric Church’s “Springsteen” with a 19 slot jum, Brad Paisley moved up 16 slots with “Southern Comfort Zone” as Miranda moved up 15 with “Fastest Girl In Town.” Jason Aldean’s collaboration with Luke Bryan and Eric Church is up six slots to #25. Finally, Blake Shelton’s “God Gave Me You” jumps from 65 to #30.
