Jake Owen’s Endless Summer EP debuts while Little Big Town score their third consecutive week at #1 with Tornado.

Little Big Town’s Tornado continues to be the best-selling country record with a second week at #1 with the album which features the massive hit “Pontoon.” Jake Owen debuts at #2 with Endless Summer EP. Featuring tourmates and good friends Florida Georgia Line on “Summer Jam,” The EP is serving as the official theme album to Jake Owen’s Headline tour with Love and Theft and Florida Georgia Line. Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away is up three places this week with another 14,000 sold. Luke Bryan’s Tailgates & Tanlines us up one slot while Hunter Hayes rounds out the Top 5 this week with his self-titled Atlantic Nashville debut.

Easton Corbin, Dwight Yoakam, Big & Rich Stay In Top 10

Eric Church’s Chief continues to remain in the Country Albums Top 10 while Easton Corbin sits next with All Over The Road, a record which has moved 10,000 more copies bringing easton’s two week total to nearly 40,000 sold. Zac Brown Band’s Uncaged is #8 this week with sales totals reaching 536,000 sold. Meanwhile, rounding out the Top 10 this week are Dwight Yoakam and Big & Rich, respectively. The Warner Music Nashville artists have now sold 28,000 and 24,000 since releasing their latest recordings last week.

Notables include  Waylon Jennings’ Final Album Goin Down Rockin’

Jason Aldean continues to have remarkably strong sales with My Kinda Party. Waylon Jennings’ Goin’ Down Rockin' (the final recordings before he passed away) debuts with 6,000 sold. Dustin Lynch has now sold 56,000 copies of his self-titled debut while Colt Ford is nearing the 100,000 sold mark for Declaration of Independence. Ryan Bingham’s Tommorrowland slides way down the chart and has a two week total of 15,000 sold while Florida Georgia Line rounds out our rundown with It’z Just What We Do having moved a total of 28,000. They’re expected to release their full-length debut album in late November, early December.

Note: Scotty McCreery Clear As Day, Love and Theft Love And Theft, Chris Cagle Back In The Saddle, Edens Edge Edens Edge all sold around 1,000 copies this week while Ricky Skaggs Music To My Ears debuts with just 1,000 sold (not bad in Bluegrass circles, honestly). Also, UK Roots/folk act Mumford & Sons debut with Babel having sold 600,000 copies, the biggest debut of 2012. That is the benchmark for Taylor Swift and maybe Jason Aldean to cross for their upcoming debuts later this month.
