Billed as a 'major music industry announcement' when invitations to the event were mailed earlier this week, Broken Bow Records and Red Distribution came through with the announcement of a new Joint-venture record label to be housed under the Broken Bow Label Group umbrella, joining Broken Bow Records and Stoney Creek Records. The new label is called Red Bow Records and in addition to the label announcement the label announced their first artist as Rachel Farley and then announced their second artist to be on the label as Joe Nichols, who signed his label contract at the event (pictured below).
BBR Music Group also announced a five year contract extension with Red Distribution, strengthening a partnership which is a decade into their run. The companies celebrated their successes with Craig Morgan, Jason Aldean, Thompson Square and Dustin Lynch prior to the announcement of the contract extension.

Nichols most recently recorded for Show Dog-Universal until earlier this year. Nichols has four #1 singles, 8 Top 10 hits, four grammy nominations and 2.2 million in album sales to his credit. Joe will release his debut single and album with the label in 2013.
Farley has most recently been out on tour with Jason Aldean and will release her debut single to country radio in 2013 with an album scheduled to follow after that.
