Make it 4 for 4 for Carrie Underwood as today she has seen her fourth album Blown Away become her fourth album to be certified Platinum (the others are all multi-platinum). In addition to becoming her latest certified album, the country superstar has seen the album's title track "Blown Away" become her 16th (again, all of her official singles) Top 10 hit.
She has spent six non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Top Country Albums chart and also earned her seventh Female Vocalist of the Year nomination from the Country Music Association for the 46th Annual CMA Awards. Carrie will be co-hosting the awards show for the fifth time with her friend and fellow Arista Nashville label mate, Brad Paisley. The show will air Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 8-11PM /ET on ABC TV affiliates nationwide.
