Yesterday he was Golfing with John Anderson, Darius Rucker, Jamey Johnson and Colt Ford and more at Colt Ford's Celebrity Golf Classic event for St. Jude's Children's Hospital and today he's releasing his special Summer Back EP.
In addition to being available digitally, the EP is at most retailers in physical CD form for a limited time. It's also helping to launch Jake's first ever headlining tour, CMT On Tour Jake Owen: The Summer Never Ends 2012. Love and Theft and Florida Georgia Line will join Jake out on tour as well.
The EP features four feel-good tracks, including "Summer Jam" (which was written with Craig Wiseman and Florida Georgia Line), "Pass A Beer," "Surefire Feeling," and "Steel My Kisses," a cover song - Jake Owen's first - that was originally recorded by Ben Harper.
