Country Chart News: Top 30 Digital Singles: The Week of July 5, 2012

The Top 30 Digital Singles chart has been released and in its contents we'll learn about a certification for Gloriana, the rise of new duo Florida/Georgia Line and all your top star's latest hits here. Read on to find out all the details!

Gloriana “(Kissed You) Good Night” is now Gold, Luke Bryan Still #1

The top five singles this week remained the same as last week with little changes except chart position. Luke Bryan remains #1 with “Drunk On You” (another 77,000 copies sold) with Little Big Town jumping Kenny Chesney and Eric Church to land at #2 with “Pontoon.” right behind them is Chesney with “Come Over.” He should hit Gold sales in a week or two while Eric Church’s Platinum seller “Springsteen” sits at #4. Rounding out the Top 5 is the Gold-selling single from Atlantic newcomer Hunter Hayes. “Wanted” has now sold 573,000 copies and with a run up the charts still to happen this summer, it likely will end up hitting Gold at some point this fall.

Dierks Bentley Leads Six through Ten Slots on the Chart.

Dierns Bentley’s latest Top 10 radio hit, “5-1-5-0” sits at #6 on the digital sales chart with 337,000 copies sold with Eli Young Band’s soon to be #1 radio hit “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” sititng at #7 on the digital chart with sales now over 654,000 copies. Kip Moore’s break-out Platinum single “Somethin’ Bout A Truck” sits at #8 this week with sales now at 1,068,000! Gloriana is up 1 to #9 with thier second Top 10 hit of their career and this week “(Kissed You) Good Night” surpassed the Gold sales mark and will soon be certified by the RIAA for the impressive sales mark. Rounding out the Top 10 is Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl,” a single now approaching 1.2 million sold”

Notable singles include “Angel Eyes” from Love and Theft

Love and Theft’s “Angel Eyes” sits at #11 on the digital singles sales chart and has now sold 316,000 copies. Lee Brice’s follow-up hit to #1 Platinum-selling single “A Woman Like You,” “Hard To Love” has now sold 249,000 copies while Jana Kramer’s break-out hit “Why Ya Wanna” has now moved 355,000 tracks. Rounding out the rundown this week is Flordia-Georgia Line, whose debut single “Cruise” has broke the Top 30 digital singles (at #29) while still not officially getting sent to radio yet (it’s in the Top 50 of the Indicator charts this week thanks to SiriusXM airplay).
