Country Chart News: Top 30 Digital Singles: The Week of June 27, 2012

The Top 30 Digital Singles report represents what consumers (fans) are loving the most in a given week. Many are also in the Top 30 of the radio charts as well. Some others, aren't anymore but were. As always, read on here to find out what your favorite star's singles did this week!

Luke Bryan sits at #1 this week with “Drunk On You” having moved another 85,000 singles to give the singer 1.4 copies of the #1 digital AND radio single. Right behind him on the chart is Kenny Chesney with “Come Over.” Welcome To The Fishbowl’s second single has moved 357,000 since being released with Eric Church’s “Springsteen” hitting 1.3 million sold and earning the #3 single position this week. Surefire single “Pontoon” has moved 279,000 copies in just five weeks on the chart and sits at #4. Right behind it is the Top 20 radio single “Wanted” from Hunter Hayes, as mentioned above, “Wanted” is Hunter’s first Gold anything (single or album) and likely not his last. 

Kip Moore “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” hits Platinum sales mark

The 6th best-selling single is Dierks Bentley’s fast-rising single “5-1-5-0”. With 1.03 million digital singles sold, Kip Moore’s recent #1 radio hit has officially passed the Platinum sales mark and sits at #7 on this week’s chart. the #8 best-selling country single according to SoundScan is Eli Young Band’s “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.” Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl” is the #9 best-selling single this week (it’s now sold 1.122 million singles) and the soon to be Gold single (likely next week) from Gloriana “(Kissed You) Good Night” having moved 482,000 singles thus far rounds out the Top 10 slot this week.

Notable singles include “Angel Eyes” from Love and Theft

Love and Theft’s “Angel Eyes” sits at #11 on the digital singles sales chart and has now sold 286,000 copies. Lee Brice’s follow-up hit to #1 Platinum-selling single “A Woman Like You,” “Hard To Love” has now sold 220,000 copies while Top 10 radio single “Feels Like A Rock Star” is less than 90,000 single sales away from giving Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw another Gold single for each of ‘em. Dustin Lynch’s “Cowboys and Angels” has now sold 260,000.

Risers of the Week: Blake Shelton & Florida-Georgia Line

Blake Shelton’s “Over” has now moved 26,000 more singles and has risen another seven places on the chart this week. Thompson Square breaks into the Top 30 with “Glass” for the first time. The single has now sold 158,000 singles. Florida-Georgia Line has moved 13 more slots to #35 with their debut single “Cruise.” The single sold 13,000 copies this week to move it to 61,000 singles sold. Thomas Rhett’s “Somethin’ To Do With Your Hands” has moved to #51 this week and has now sold 82,000 copies. 

Singles debuting this week include Kenny Chesney’s “Always Gonna Be This Way” at #52, “Time Fles” at #64, “To Get To You” at #69, “Welcome to the Fishbowl” at #75, and “Makes Me Wonder” at #91.
