Another day, another country star’s tour bus gets destroyed. While Matt Stillwell’s bus was a casualty of the deadly tornados last Friday, Jerrod Niemann’s tour bus caught on fire after finishing a performance at a St. Jude’s Children Hospital Benefit concert in Chattanooga, TN. Jerrod was on the bus relaxing with friends Lee Brice (“A Woman Like You”), writer/artist Jon Stone, his band and his father and uncle when Jon noticed something was wrong.

We’re In the bus and Jon comes over and says ‘your bus is on fire,’” Jerrod told WRCB, a Chattanooga TV station. “And I’m like Dude, Your gun’s shot. Our bus is not on fire.’” Jerrod then went to his bus’ thermostat and it said ‘auto cool. He picks up the story with “So lee gets off the bus and is like, ‘Dude, That’s black smoke. Your bus is on fire.”

Everybody then got off the bus, only moments before it exploded.

"Pretty soon we hear this 'boom!' and we think it's the fuel line, but we look and the whole front windshield was just blown out," Jerrod describes. "This is where I have to say, to anyone that does not believe in God: if we were on the road driving, we would've never smelled it. The smell would've been going down the road. It would've lit up. I would've been in the back room. My own father -- I don't care if I die, but my own father and uncle -- this one night on the bus ... We're so, so thankful."

After the bus was engulfed in flames, Jerrod Tweeted about the fire issue along with a photo of himself with Jon and Lee standing in front of the fire with their fingers ‘waving’ to the camera. The image is below:

In January Lee Brice’s bus had a similar fate and it’s also something that happened to Randy Houser a few months back as well. It seems like bus problems be it from fire or natural disasters, are now a rite of passage amongst up and coming country stars.
