ACM Announces Special Duets and Collaborative Performances

The Academy of Country Music announced today that there will be a few special duet appearances from top stars at this weekend's April 1 broadcast on CBS. Read on to find out more.

The Academy of Country Music announced today that there will be a few special performances on this year's telecast. Kenny Chesney will duet with 2012 Stadium touring partner Tim McGraw (with a song that's rumored to be their new single), Blake Shelton will join with Lionel Richie for their "You Are" duet from Lionel's new album Tuskegee and Toby Keith will perform with special 'surprise guest performers'. Rascal Flatts will also be partnering with Steve Martin (on their song "Banjo"). 

Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chris Young, The Band Perry, Martina McBride (with Pat Monahan) and Rascal Flatts were all previously announced performers on the telecast, which will be broadcast on Sunday April 1, 2012 at 8pm Eastern and Western Time zones and 7pm in Central and Mountain Time zones.
