This week's rundown finds Lady Antebellum once again in the top spot as the best-selling country artist of the week. Read on to find out who made the Top 5 along with five more notable albums on the SoundScan charts this week!

There were no bigtime new releases this past week in the mainstream country world but we did see alt-country cover band The Little Willies (which features Norah Jones)  hit the SoundScan Top Country Albums Top 10 this week with 8,000 units sold.  They joined a Top 10 which included chart-topper Lady Antebellum with Own The Night moving another 15,000 copies.

Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, The Band Perry and Jason Aldean's Latest Round Out Country Top 5

Luke Bryan’s successful 2011 has rolled into 2012 as Tailgates & Tanlines has rebounded back up the charts to land at #2 this week and with a strong continued sales momentum, it could reclaim #1 next week before Tim McGraw storms the chart with Emotional Traffic. Toby Keith’s “Red Solo Cup” hit the Top 5 on the charts this week and has now sold nearly 370,000 copies while the single is selling near Platinum (million) status.  The Band Perry’s got nearly 1.1 million albums sold while Jason Aldean’s nearly 2.3 million deep into sales for My Kinda Party.

Newcomer Hunter Hayes Sales Growing While #1 Single Can't Move Albums for David Nail

One of last year’s Ones to Watch, Hunter Hayes continues his upward movement on the Billboard singles chart with the nearly Gold-selling single “Storm Warning” helping his self-titled debut album, one of our favorite records from 2011, move closer to selling 100,000. Other highlights this week include the lone country album with positive sales increases, Rodney Atkins Take A Back Road has now moved nearly 130,000 copies. Rounding out the five albums to watch is Eli Young Band’s Life at Best with nearly 160,000 copies moved and David Nail with The Sound of a Million Dreams moving towards the 40,000 sold mark.
