Single Review: Lee Brice - A Woman Like You

With a few hit singles to his credit, Lee Brice broke through in 2010 with "Love Like Crazy," the platinum-selling year-long radio hit that ended the year the most-played tune at Billboard. Read on to see if we think that this, Lee Brice's latest single, is a hit or not.

Only on the charts for a few weeks, the song has already broken the Top 40 which immediately makes it his fastest rising single to date. The melody is simple with acoustic guitars and an almost “Chesney” or “Currington” vibe to it with an equally simple yet passionate vocal delivery of the lyrics about a guy who talks with his girl about what life might be like for him if he hadn’t met her and remained “Alone and out there on the loose” he’d still be “looking for a woman like you.” This is the kind of song that Garth Brooks (who debuted at #1 on the charts with Lee’s “Every Other Memory” a couple of years ago) would’ve taken up the charts and Lee continues to show off a charming personality and vocal style that just makes “A Woman Like You” an easy song to like.
