The nominees are then selected from these measurement categories and we find that Jason Aldean and Zac Brown Band lead the ACA nominees with eight nominations each. Thompson Square earned sevin nominations while The Band Perry and Taylor Swift scored six nominees each, too.
The awards are a little different than most shows in that they use four measurement categories to determine the nominees. BigChampagne for record sales and media consumption; Great American Country (GAC) for video airplay, Mediabase for radio airplay and Pollstar for touring data.
Fans also are an integral part in the award show as the voting starts to day here and voting can be held daily until Friday, November 11th, except for the Artist of the Year category, which closes Friday, December 2.
The show will be hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth and the two-hour live music spectacular will feature performances and appearances by the years's top country artists. Performers and Presenters will be announced soon.
