Taylor Swift remains the #6 selling country album with another 13,000 copies sold of her Speak Now album as she works on single #5 from the record (“Sparks Fly”). The Band Perry continues to do well with their hits and sales and are now over the 643,000 sales mark for The Band Perry. The multi-artist compilation Now Country IV is next with 72,000-plus copies sold this week to make it the eighth best-selling country album on SoundScan’s Top 200 Current Albums chart this week with Lauren Alaina’s own American Idol Season 10 Highlights album now over the 30,000 copies sold mark (which isn’t bad for a five song EP featuring remakes). Blake Shelton’s Loaded…The Best of Blake Shelton slides from the Top 5 to the tenth slot this week with 344,000 copies of the hits collection now sold. It is well on its way to scoring a Gold plaque sometime in the next year or so.

Lady Antebellum leads off the 11-15 section with Need You Now. Rascal Flatts, who just scored their first Gold selling single since joining Big Machine Records for “I Won’t Let Go” has now sold over 903,000 copies of Nothing Like This. Likely final single “Easy” – which features Natasha Bedingfield – is out on the charts now as is Kenny Chesney’s “You and Tequila” (a song which features Grace Potter). Hemingway’s Whiskey has now sold 875,000 copies to land at #13 this week. Ronnie Dunn’s “Cost of Livin’” is next and has sold nearly 94,000 copies thanks to “Bleed Red” and new hit “Cost of Livin’.” Zac Brown Band has now sold over 2,600,000 copies of this week’s #15 album, The Foundation.

Before we tell you about where we think next week’s slate of new releases will land, let’s talk about five interesting albums from established to up and coming artists. Colt Ford slides out of the Top 20 for the first time this week with his successful Every Chance I Get while Sugarland’s The Incredible Machine is also out of the Top 20 for the first time since its release. Billy Currington’s Enjoy Yourself is next on our SoundScan Top 200 Current Albums chart rundown with sales now approaching 350,000 copies. Darius Rucker rebounds up the charts and is now less than 11,000 copies from scanning gold on Charleston, SC 1966, thanks to hits like “I Got Nothin’.” Jerrod Niemann rounds out our rundown as “One More Drinkin’ Song” finds audiences just like “Lover Lover” and “What Do You Want” did over the past year. The year old album Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury has now sold nearly 330,000 copies.

Next week is guaranteed to bring new sales figures from high profile releases with a likely new 1-2 sales combination from Blake Shelton and Chris Young. We expect Shelton’s Red River Blue to sell somewhere from 120,000-150,000 copies (which might make it the #1 album in America) while Chris Young should move somewhere between 60,000-70,000 copies of Neon. Ashton Shepherd is set to drop on the chart next week as well and it’s our guess that she’ll sell around 10-15,000 copies next week of Where Country Grows. As always, check back here to find out where the albums land on the charts and to see if our estimates are correct.
