The interesting album section doesn’t feature any new releases or any female artists (It would’ve had Carrie Underwood’s Play On made an appearance). Anyway, currently in litigation with Curb Records, Tim McGraw’s Number One Hits now has sold over 350,000 copies while Billy Currington’s Enjoy Yourself has scanned over 315,000 and landed the #122 slot on SoundScan’s Hot 200 (current) Albums chart. Darius Rucker has the #125 album on the chart this week with Charleston, SC 1966. Get Closer by Keith Urban is getting closer to 600,000 scanned as he works “Without You” up to the Top of the charts while Brad Paisley’s two disc Hits Alive collection has now scanned over 250,000 copies making it an official Gold recording for the headliner, just before This Is Country Music comes out next week (which should be a high debut).
