Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now starts off the second half of the top 10 albums on the rundown this week with 15,000 more fans taking home 2010’s best-selling country album. Aaron Lewis’ Town Line slides up a few notches this week the album moved nearly 14,000 more copies this past week. Sugarland scored a nice sales boost last week as well (and may this week too with Amazon offering it for $3.99 this week) and it has now sold over 911,000 copies. Kenny Rogers’ three-week-old Love of God has now moved over 35,000 copies as an exclusive Cracker Barrel release while Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers’ Rare Bird Alert scores a Top 10 slot this week as it gained sales over last week and has sold nearly 20,000 copies in two weeks.

With “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not” sitting at #1 on the radio single charts this week, Thompson Square has the eleventh best-selling country album this week as their self-titled debut has now passed the 100,000 sold mark and is the best-selling album from a country newcomer so far in 2011. The Band Perry, who hold that distinction for their status as a new artist from 2010, are next with their self-titled debut. It has now sold nearly 470,000 copies. Kenny Chesney experienced a slight sales increase this week and has now sold nearly 760,000 copies of Hemingway’s Whiskey while Miranda Lambert’s Revolution has sold nearly 1.25 million copies. Tim McGraw’s Gold-selling Number One Hits rounds out the Top 15 this week with over 7,100 more fans finding they can’t live without the two-disc value-priced collection.

Zac Brown Band’s Foundation leads the last quarter of our SoundScan Top 20 country albums this week while the first new album of the week, Josh Kelley’s Georgia Clay debuts with just over 6,000 copies sold its first week out. Billy Currington is next with Enjoy Yourself while Blessed from Lucinda Williams gives UMG Nashville three albums in a row in the Top 20. Blake Shelton’s Loaded…The Best of Blake Shelton is next and it has found 5500 more homes to bring the greatest hits collection sales total up to 212,000 copies.

In the interesting album section we find The Magazine/CD ZinePak ACM Awards celebration package at 105 on the SoundScan chart this week with over 5,300 people picking up the cool package at their local Walmart stores. Josh Turner’s Icon collection – a budget package for stores – collects some of his biggest hits and puts them on this one CD. It sold over 5,100 copies. Jerrod Niemann’s Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury Is next with nearly 4,900 fans taking the album with “Lover Lover” and “What Do You Want” home. Billy Currington’s Icon collection is next with nearly 4,800 people taking home the album while we round out this chart rundown with Keith Urban’s Get Closer now having sold nearly 560,000 albums since being released last fall.
