Taylor Swift To Air Prime Time Special on Thanksgiving Night on NBC

“Taylor Swift: Speak Now” will bring fans on a whirlwind trip from New York City to Los Angeles with concerts in unique locations, including Central Park and on top of a tour bus on Hollywood Boulevard in downtown Hollywood.  

The fast-paced hour features nine one-of-a-kind performances, including intimate takes on Swift’s songs “Mine,” “Sparks Fly,” “Story of Us,” “Long Live,” “Haunted,” “Mean,” “Back to December,” “Enchanted,” and the title track of her new Big Machine Records album “Speak Now.”

The special also features behind-the-scenes footage of all of the mayhem surrounding the popular Swift, who takes viewers along for the exhilarating ride of making and releasing her blockbuster Speak Now CD.  From the recording studio to her publicity tour for Speak Now, fans get an all-access pass.

Country Duo The Roys Sign Major Recording Contract

After the last few years in which The Roys straddled the line between bluegrass and country music, it was announced today that the brother-sister duo had signed a recording contract with major bluegrass record label Rural Rhythm Records, joining a roster that includes Audie Blaylock and Redline, Lonesome River Band, Randy Kohrs, Carrie Hassler and Hard Rain, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, and Michael Martin Murphey among many others.  The duo’s first Rural Rhythm Records album will be released in early 2011, the 50th year of Rural Rhythm Records’ existence. 

Jamey Johnson Joins Kid Rock on 2011 “Born Free” tour.

Starting with his 40th birthday show at Detroit’s Ford Field, Kid Rock will kick off a national arena and stadium tour with his good friend Jamey Johnson opening up the tour.
