Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" Set For October Release

Country/pop icon Taylor Swift is set to return this fall with her third proper album release Speak Now.  The follow-up to the six times platinum Fearless, Speak Now has quite the album to follow.  Will the record follow quickly into multi-platinum stat

Country music's latest icon Taylor Swift is set to return this fall with her third proper album release.  To be titled Speak Now, the album is a 14-track collection of songs written solely by the pop/country singer.  After remarkable years in 2008 and 2009 where Taylor's Fearless dominated the charts, Taylor has been relatively quiet in 2010, outside of a 14 hour autograph and singing session during CMA Music Fest this past June.

The best-selling artist of the digital era, Taylor's two albums have sold over 10 million while her singles have sold  over 17.5 million according to RIAA certifications.  These numbers confirm Taylor's ability to reach the masses.  Her sold-out tours in 2009/2010 showcased Taylor's ability to pack arenas and there are no doubts that the superstar will have a Speak Now tour in 2011.

What do you think? Are you intrigued to hear her self-written album? Are you tired of Taylor Swift news?
