Trailer Choir - "Rollin Through The Sunshine"

Signed to Toby Keith's "Show Dog-Universal" label, the Trailer Choir aren't a typical country band.  After scoring a sizeable hit with "Rockin' The Beer Gut" last summer/fall, the trio is back with another fun song here.  Can "Sunshine" become an even bigger hit?

Last year the Trailer Choir brought us “Rockin’ The Beer Gut” and scored their first notable hit with the track.  That allowed them to release a ‘six pack’ Off The Hillbilly Hook album (or EP) to fans and one of the best tracks on that disc of fun party songs (and the heartfelt “What Would You Say”) is “Rollin’ Through The Sunshine.”  The song is as catchy as anything else you’re likely to hear along with showcasing Butter, Big Vinny and Chrystal’s strong vocal harmonies.

The lyrics deliver a message that many people can relate to this time of year, particularly as winter tries to extend its stay longer than any of us would like it to.  The melody is progressive and fun and perfectly accentuates the Trailer Choir’s desire to deliver a fun song for people to listen to to take their minds off of what may be bugging them in their life, (or their hard work, no play lifestyle).

“Rollin’ Through The Sunshine” is the kind of song that sneaks up on you.  Even the biggest grump in the world will be smiling by the end of the chorus to this tune as it does what it’s supposed to do, make you escape from the stressful life that we go through every day.  Here’s hoping that Trailer Choir score their biggest hit yet with this charming, fun piece of escapist music.
