Final CMT Awards Nominees Announced

The CMT Music Awards Nominees were recently announced with multiple artists receiving nominations.  Throughout the course of the last month or so, fans have had the opprtunity to pare down preliminary nominees to the final nominees here

With many categories ‘too close to call,’ many artists- new and established alike, the CMT Music Awards final nominees were announced this week.  Leading the way with three nominations each are Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean.  Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert and Steel Magnolia each garnered two nominations each. 

Hosted by Kid Rock, the 2010 CMT Music Awards will air live from Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 9 at 8/7 central.  Fans can vote online for all categories up to Tuesday, June 8.   Final votes for Video of the Year will be announced at the beginning of the show and fans can then vote at CMT.com and via text message throughout the live broadcast (ET/CT only) to determine the night’s biggest winner.
