Jaron and the Long Road to Love to Partner with Major Labels

With their single "Pray For You" rising the country charts, Jaron and the Long Road to Love started gaining notice from the major labels in Nashville and New York because of their independent success.  What major label did they settle on?

After originally wanting to release their music via the independent route, Jaron Lowenstein and his band Jaron and the Long Road to Love have signed with New York-based Universal Republic Records for the distribution of their upcoming Jaronwood Records album which will feature the rising Top 40 hit “Pray For You.”

Jaron had originally discussed releasing his music via singles instead of an album format giving how the industry had changed but when you get yourself a grassroots hit like “Pray For You,” the majors are invariably going to come calling.  This isn’t Jaron’s first ‘rodeo’ with a major label as he and his twin brother Evan were the guys in the Columbia Records duo Evan & Jaron.  They had a hit in 2001 with “Crazy For This Girl” and followed that up with the hit “The Distance.”  Their songwriting, while based in pop, always had an air of ‘country’ to it so this transition to Country/pop is a seamless one for Jaron.

Big Machine Records will handle the country music promotion of Jaron and the Long Road to Love’s music for radio.
