Award-winning singer/songwriter and Root 49 Recording artist Bridgette Tatum is this week's Fresh Music Friday artist. "(I Like My) Cowboys Dirty," the debut single from her forthcoming CD release, will be available as a free download March 12-14.
Bridgette Tatum's songwriting accomplishments include co-penning the monster hit "She's Country," recorded by Jason Aldean. The song was recently honored as the most-played country radio single of 2009.
The artist recently took over the infamous Renaissance Hotel Bridge Bar for two nights during Nashville's Country Radio Seminar, as she dubbed it the "Bridg(ette) Bar." Bridgette was joined by Root 49 label partner and NASCAR star, Ryan Newman, who has 13 Sprint Cup victories, including the 2008 Daytona 500.
