Carrie Underwood Scores 12th Chart-topping Hit

With “Temporary Home,” Carrie Underwood has scored her twelfth consecutive chart-topping hit.  The country star is undoubtedly the most successful person to come from American Idol and is the only artist to have each of their first 11 official singles hit the Top of the charts at country radio. Carrie’s first #1 single was “Inside Your Heaven,” a song chosen for her to sing as her ‘coronation’ song.  Carrie’s also now written five of her #1 hits.

In other Carrie news she was declared the most ‘hot’ hockey wife while not even officially Mike Fisher’s wife yet.  The couple will also have cupcakes instead of the traditional cake at their upcoming wedding.

According to many people in the LA-based media a Mindy McCready “sex tape” has surfaced and is supposedly ‘approved’ by the star but her representatives had this to say:

In response to the media and outpour of inquires surrounding an alleged "Mindy McCready Sex Tape," Mindy's attorney Adam Dread has made the following statement: "We are not aware of the production or release of the alleged film that seems to have surfaced via various media reports. However, we can confirm that any illegally- obtained property, and/or fabricated footage, and the release thereof, will be dealt with swiftly following proper legal procedure."

McCready’s I’m Still Here was released last week.

Miranda Lambert Raises nearly $70,000 for her MuttNation Foundation

For the second year in a row, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton performed at a benefit concert in Tishomingo, OK. The event was a complete success and early sell-out.  Nearly $70,000 was raised as attendees from all over Oklahoma and Texas came out for an evening that featured acoustic performances from Miranda, Blake and Clancy Davis (Blake’s cousin) as well as a cocktail party, dinner and live and silent auctions.  The funds will go to the local Tishomingo, OK veterans association and the Tishomingo Animal Shelter along with a few other select organizations from the area.

Miranda’s current single is “The House That Built Me.”
