Can You Duet's JB Rocket Signs Record Deal

The runner-ups on CMT's second season of Can You Duet may not have scored a record deal the way they had hoped to -by winning the competition- but the duo of Jonathan Cox and Brandon Green are now part of the Valory Music Company team.

They weren't the winners of season two of CMT's Can You Duet but like Season one runner-ups Joey + Rory and Kate and Kasey, JB Rocket's appearances on the show earned them a record deal.  The record deal they signed was, in fact, brokered with the CEO of Big Machine Records and The Valory Music Company Scott Borchetta.  Anybody who watched Can You Duet could see how excited Scott Borchetta was with the duo he and judges Naomi Judd and Big Kenny put together and the potential they had to become hit artists and once the duo went out and toured a bit, it seems that Scott Borchetta only got even more happy with their performance abilities and signed them to the Valory Music Company label.

The duo will release a single in early spring 2010 with an album to follow.
