Stunning.  That's the only adjective that can describe Lorrie Morgan's latest album.   A collection of standards, the album was cut in two days with the full band and orchestra playing behind Lorrie without any overdubs tracked later on.

A lot has happened in the world and in Joe Nichols life since he recorded his 2007 album Real Things. This excellent record represents many of the things that have happened, life, love and particularly Joe's recovery from addiction.

After trying for years, Bomshel finally scored their first Top 40 hit earlier this year with the title track of this album.  As the second single "19 & Crazy" moves up the charts, Bomshel is finally releasing their debut album.

Toby Keith has returned with this album, released almost exactly a year after That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy.  Does this record stand-up next to Toby's greatest albums?  Is it one of the year's best releases? Will more hits come from it?

While Derek Sholl is new to a national audience, he has worked hard to master his craft by touring around the southwest, particularly in Texas where he's scored a few local chart hits.  This is his first nationally distributed album.

While most of Taylor's fans likely have the original version of Fearless, they're likely going to want their own copy of this album as well as it features not only one or two bonus tracks but six new ones along with a dvd full of videos.

It was a long three year wait for this record to get released. Will it please fans who waited ever so patiently for it and ejoyed the two retro-sounding lead singles or will it leaving them wishing Tim had just not released another record.

The second album in an artist’s career is often the hardest album to make. Will Luke Bryan continue to be Doin' [his] Thing in the years following this record or will it ultimately cause his career to take a nosedive?

Lyle Lovett has been making good records for decades now and with his latest release for Curb/Lost Highway Records, Lyle expands and breathes new life into his western swing/jazz fusion hybrid that has served him well over the years.

The Red Dirt Music godfather returns with his latest album of rootsy Texas Country/Rock.  A powerful storyteller, REK is also known for his wry sense of humor and both sides of his personality are present on this Lost Highway release.

The success of Taylor Swift was bound to have Nashville record labels take a look at some other young talent in and around music city. Veronica Ballestrini is one of those young talents. Does follow or steer clear of the T.Swift formula?

The Bellamy Brothers have been writing and recording hits for many years now and to remind folks that they're still around they've come out with this comprehensive collection of their past (and present hits).
