Tim McGraw - "It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You"

After releasing seven singles from 2007's "Let It Go" album, Tim McGraw has finally returned to the charts with something fans haven't heard yet.  Will this song rocket up the charts this summer like "Fly Away" did or will it struggle to reach the Top 10?

After releasing seven singles off of Tim McGraw’s last album, including ‘releasing’ one as part of an odd 3rd Greatest Hits III release, Curb Records has finally decided to release a new single from Tim McGraw and, as usual with Tim McGraw, “It’s A Business Doing Pleasure With You” (listen here) has a jovial melody and lyric that recall the Georgia Satellites’ “Keep Your Hands To Yourself.”  This is the kind of song that both men and women can love and it’s easy to see why Tim McGraw has been so adamant about getting his upcoming album (likely his final with Curb Records) out for fans to listen to.

One can’t help but think that the lyric, which immediately gets people thinking, immediately hit Tim McGraw due to his relationship with Curb Records, which has often been tenuous over the years.  No matter how the song got to him, “It’s A Business Doing Pleasure With You” is the kind of song that shows people exactly why Tim McGraw has become a superstar in the first place.  While not gifted with the greatest of voices, Tim McGraw, like Garth Brooks and George Strait before him, has one of the best ears for hits in Nashville and that’s what “It’s A Business Doing Pleasure With You” is, a hit.  And it would’ve been a hit even if some no-name newcomer was releasing this single to radio; it’s that strong and memorable of a song.
