The third week of November 2008 brings country music three high profile releases in Blake Shelton's fifth release, "Startin' Fires" and the debut albums from Randy Houser ("Anything Goes") and Zac Brown Band ("The Foundation).  Crossin' Dixon releases their debut to digital outlets as well.

Blake Shelton's "Startin' Fires" is the follow-up to his 2007 release "Pure BS."  It also follows in the wake of the massively successful single "Home."  Does "Startin' Fires," which was produced by WB executive Scott Hendricks, have what it takes to turn Blake Shelton into a household name or is it another in a long line of 'ho-hum' releases from him?

The Zac Brown Band finally found a major label home in Atlantic Records after their partnership with Live Nations fell through.  Released via their own Homegrown label along with Keith Stegall's Big Picture Entertainment, the album is the culmination of alot of work for the band.  Will the Stegall produced "The Foundation" be a big hit for the hard-working band?

Randy Houser's title track "Anything Goes" hadn't even made the Top 40 at country radio when David Letterman heard the song on his ranch in Montana and immediatly requested Houser sing it on his show.  Will houser turn that exposure and break into a successful career? Does the Mark Wright and Cliff Audretch, III produced "Anything Goes" have enough to break the Universal Records South artist through?

Broken Bow Records' Crossin Dixon releases their self-titled debut record this week as well.  While only a digital release, it is sure to be praised by fans of the southern rock vocal group who've been hoping for the album's release for well over a year.
