Like death and taxes, another week has come to an end with Taylor Swift selling the most country albums this week. The question seems to be, though, are any other country artists going to be able to take over the throne?

Like death and taxes, another week has come to an end with Taylor Swift selling the most country albums this week. The question seems to be, though, are any other country artists going to be able to take over the throne?

On the Billboard Hot 200 Albums chart for an 88th week, "Taylor Swift" sold an additional 31,827 copies to bring her cume to 3,110,456 albums sold. Here's how the Top 5 country albums stacked up on the chart last week:

While the stars at the top of the charts continued to dominate country music as expected, there are a couple of up-and-coming artists continue to see their albums ride the lower-reaches of the charts:

As you can see from the chart above, Reckless Kelly has the distinction of having the best debut on the Hot 200 Albums chart. The Road Hammers saw their album debut at 57 with 1,192 albums sold while the digital only Carter's Chord record sold 797 and has a total cume of 1,867 albums sold in the two weeks on the chart. The album 'bring up the rear' on the Top cCountry Albums chart? Clay Walker with his "Fall" album seling 724 copies which gives him a total of 247,000 albums sold. Wow, so that's what three hit singles give an album these days?
