"HARD TIME"
By: Alan Mullins, David Chandler & Phillip Williams

Tossin' back longnecks, Rockin' Horse Saloon.
Listenin' to "E.T.A." jammin' out a tune.
Mindin' my business, hangin' out.
Not a care on my mind to talk about.
Cell phone rings, trouble on the line,
that crazy ex-woman done ran off with them
babies of mine.

Now I'm doin' hard time, Boyd Co. Jail.
Cold concrete floors, back's hurtin' like hell.
Got no smokes, cold beer or wine.
Just a couple of the troubles I'm facin'
doin' hard time.

Seventeen men, ten man cell.
My thoughts echo, sound lonely as hell.
Collect call home, get her on the phone.
Oh, Lord, how I'd love
to be lyin' there with her at home.

Instead of doin' hard time, Boyd Co. Jail.
I'd rather be out back, ridin' on that rail.
My heart's poundin', I miss that woman of mine.
Just a couple of the troubles I'm facin'
doin' hard time.

BRIDGE: Railroaded by the system on a petty little
misdemeanor crime.
Just a couple of the troubles I'm facin',
doin' hard time.
