One of the world’s biggest stars leans into country music’s roots with several songs on 27 track album which features the mega hit “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

Country music has long been open to “outsiders,” despite what others might want to believe. Lorrie Morgan proves this with her gracious invite to have Beyoncé join her at the Grand Ole Opry for a performance in 2024.

Beyoncé released two new country music influenced songs and the debate about who is or what is or isn’t country music has, like the flu virus, returned.

Taylor Swift, who had a run-in with Kanye West earlier this year is now being mentioned in the same breath with the rapper turned autotuned singer as she joined him as the top female and male artists of 2009. Swift, is also the Top artist of 2009 while West was 6th.

Kanye West apologized on The Jay Leno Show, he apologized  on Twitter and virtually everwhere else he could think of yet somehow before taking the time to Call Taylor Swift to apologize for his VMA stunt. Did she accept his apology?

Last night on MTV's Video Music Awards current country music darling Taylor Swift was interrupted during her acceptance speech byrapper Kanye West who appeared furious that Beyonce lost the award to Taylor. Was this whole event real or scripted? What say you?
